Border(ing) Practices Research Project

Nov 23, 2022, 13:55 PM

Led by a collaborative team at the University of Toronto & University of Victoria, the Border(ing) Practices project is currently conducting research to better understand how child welfare organizations work with immigrants who are undocumented or have a precarious immigration status. CWICE Managers Danielle Ungara and Liz Okai are members of the Advisory for this multi-year, dual province, and cross-sector research project.

The researchers are currently hoping to talk with folks who support immigrant families involved in the child welfare system or community settings in ON and BC.

If you are interested in taking part in a virtual interview (honoraria included) or would like more information about the research, please contact the team at borderingpractices@utoronto.ca. Feel free to circulate this notice among your networks. Please see the attached flyer for further information.
