CWICE released a new report last month, entitled Unaccompanied and Separated Children under CUAET: A call to position Canada as Best in Class Leader in the protection and welfare of children and youth. We are pleased to announce that the report has been featured in a CBC News article, linked below:

CWICE Manager Liz Okai was also interviewed about the report on CBC Radio's Ottawa Morning. Click here to listen to the segment.
The report was researched and developed in partnership with Jewish Immigrant Aid Services Toronto (JIAS Toronto) and commissioned by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), to offer recommendations on how Canada could better support Unaccompanied and Separated Children (UASC) with Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) visas and more broadly.
CWICE is grateful to have had the opportunity to work with JIAS Toronto on this report, and appreciates CBC Ottawa shining a light on this important issue.
